A rescue helicopter prepares to hoist aboard surviving Japanese climber Hideaki Nara near the summit of Aoraki Mount Cook in New Zealand on December 5, 2008. A Japanese climber stranded for six days just below the summit had died just hours before rescuers reached him and a compatriot, local media reported. The two Japanese climbers were forced to huddle in a tent 50 meters below the 3,754-meter (12,349 feet) peak, as poor weather and high winds foiled attempts to rescue the men by helicopter.

New Music. Lots.
Hip Hop icon Q-Tip has just released a new album titled The Renaissance. This is his 2nd album and first in 6 years.. He is most known for his work as a part of A Tribe Called Quest.
He will be playing at the Mezzanine with the Cool Kids (one of my favorite new groups) On Thursday, that is going to be a crazy night in SF!
You can listen to his new album here!
As I just mentioned the Cool Kids, who are pretty much the opposite of Q-Tip will be in SF Thursday as well. They have made a mark on the hip hop landscape completely over the internet. I think they are super dope and you can listen to some of their music here.
Asher Roth is about to be your new favorite (white) MC from the burbs.. This kid is super duper talented lyrically and funny as hell.
On a side note who knew Carson Daly was still alive??...
You can listen to his new mixtape The Greenhouse Effect Here.
Wale is a rapper from Washington D.C. who also has found a tremendous amount of success over the internet. He released the mixtape about nothing in aug. I still listen to it.
You can download it for free here.
And Finally I am a big Justice fan and they are about to drop a documentary "Across the Universe" about their touring experience.. um just watch.
