Jake One.. I go for this album!

As a long time Hip-Hop fan I am happy to finally listen to some good music.. Jake One is a producer from Seattle who was able to put together a virtual dream team line up of mainstream and underground artists alike.. Great beats with a smörgåsbord of lyricists create one of the first hip hop albums worth spending money on this year.

MF Doom and Keak Da Sneak.. YUP!

Fresh gear - Ksubi.

I am extremely excited to welcome Ksubi to chestnut st. The Iconic Australian brand is probably one of the best accounts that I have landed at Jacks. Kusbi was started by 3 professional surfers who also played in a punk band.. they were unsatisfied with the range of jeans on the market and couldn't find pairs that fit properly. Under the name Tsubi, they started manufacturing their own denim.

The rebellious company was forced to change there name in 2006 when US shoe company Tsubo, threatened to sue Tsubi following a trademark infringement dispute.. thus Ksubi.

They are also known for attention-grabbing antics, such as unleashing 200 live rats onto the catwalk, warehouse installations, late-night booty bar parties and boat fashion shows where they pushed all of the models into the water.. This is a really fun company with amazing clothes. Currently I am stocking 3 styles of jeans and 2 really dope styles of sunglasses.. Come see for yourself.
